Over 10 years.
Where did you work previously?
Keeday Leisure (Pub entertainment provider).
How did you get started in this industry?
A friend asked me to join and help in 2007.
Describe your day to day role
Servicing of equipment (on-site and within the depot), organising ongoing works, marketing and customer service.
What is the most interesting part of your job?
Seeing a variety of places throughout the UK and face-to-face interaction with customers.
What do you find most challenging about your job?
Not being able to complete works for customers whilst on-site and having to take equipment away.
If you could swap jobs with someone else at Civil Safety for a day, who would it be and why?
I would swap with the trainers as I would like to see if I could diversify in the future.
What’s the most useful piece of advice you have been given in your career?
Keep calm, find a solution. Don’t panic and let it be a problem.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I really enjoy football, music and spending time with my family.
Any interesting/little known facts about you?
I enjoy organising charity events and have organised club nights and football tournaments. I’m currently training for a sponsored walk.
