Successful Launch of Confined Space Training in Liverpool
November 7, 2025
We’re delighted to announce the successful launch of our City & Guilds 6160-09 Medium Risk Confined Space Training Course in Liverpool.
Our first course took place in October and saw seven delegates take part in this essential qualification, covering both the Entrant and Entry Controller roles for medium-risk confined spaces. We’re proud to share that all seven attendees passed successfully, demonstrating fantastic commitment, teamwork, and understanding throughout the course.
Engaging, Practical and Supportive Training
The course was delivered by our experienced assessor Andy, who brought his wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the session. Delegates praised the course for being both informative and engaging, with practical exercises that kept everyone involved.
Here’s what some of our attendees had to say:
- “Brilliant assessor – very knowledgeable and broke the course up so still engaging.”
- “Brilliant course, enjoyed it. Learnt a lot – it was brilliant and helpful.”
- “Andy was a good instructor – explained everything really easily for an old one like me to understand and was helpful when there were things I didn’t know.”
- “Brilliant course, really enjoyed it – Andy, top fella!”
- “Great course. Venue was very good, especially providing food and drink.”
We’re thrilled with such positive feedback and proud to see every participant leave with both new skills and confidence to safely manage confined space operations.
Why Confined Space Training Matters
Working in confined spaces can present significant risks, including poor air quality, reduced oxygen levels, and restricted access in emergencies. Proper training is vital to ensure that every worker understands how to assess hazards, use equipment correctly, and follow safe systems of work. The City & Guilds 6160-09 qualification provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills to operate safely and take control of confined space entries; a key requirement for compliance and, most importantly, for protecting lives on site.
